One Can Only Take (So Much Abuse)

Johnny Grew Up, He Was Abused His Daddy Beat Him, Just For Fun. Until The Day, That Johnny Snapped, He'd Never Get Beat On, Again. He Got On His Bike, And Headed Toward The Bridge, This Was The Way, It Would End. He Only Had, Three Close Friends, They Were The People, That He Told. As He Pedaled, The Bridge Came In-to Sight, This Time He Wasn't Turning Back. One Can Only Take, So Much Abuse, Everybody Has To Snap. It's Just A Shame, Someone Has To Die, To Put An End To The Pain. He Ditched His Bike, In Some Woods, And He Walked Those Final Steps, He Reached The Bridge, And Then he Stopped, And These Words Are What He Said. One Can Only Take, So Much Abuse Everybody Has To Snap, It's Just A-shame, Someone Has To Die, To Put An End To The Pain. And Then He Climbed Up The Fence, And Then He Stood There On The Ledge, Then He Said "God Save The Rest." Then He Took That Final Step. One Can Only Take, So Much Abuse, Everybody Has To Snap, It's Just A-shame, Someone Has To Die, To Put An End To The Pain. As He Lay There, On All The Rocks, He Knew That He Would Die, And Then He Heard, His Three Best Friends Say, Those Words He Always Tried To Preach. One Can Only Take, So Much Abuse, Everybody Has To Snap. It's Just A Shame, Someone Has To Die, To Put An End To The Pain.

Different Than Them

There Is A Place On The Outskirts Of Town, That I Go To When The Sun Goes Down. It's My Favorite Place To Unwind. It's Where I Go To Drink And Check Out Babes, I Take 'Em Home, But I Got No Mate. But Then I Went There Tonight, And I Met You. And I Knew You Were Different Than Them, By The Way You Walked, The Way You Talked, And The Way You Acted. And When You Sat Down, At My Table, And Looked At Me, That's When I Knew, You Were Different Than Them. Then We Talked For What Felt Like An Hour, Then I Finally Threw In The Tow-el, The Bar Was Closing And I Needed To Get Home. I Gave Her A Ride To Her House That Night. But We Kept Going As I Thought We Might. And Then She Said Those Four Words, And I Said "Yes". Cause I Knew She Was Different Than Them, By The Way She Walked, The Way She Talked, And The Way She Acted. And When She Sat Down Right Next To Me, Inside My House, That's When I Knew, She Was Different Than Them. Now Twenty Years Have Passed And Were Still Together. Now And Then We Think About That Night. And We Go To The Bar Down The Road. It's Just A Pile Of Bricks, But We Remember. Now We Know We Were Different Than Them, By The Way We Walked, The Way We Talked, And The Way That We Acted. And Now That We Wait, Holding Hands, Letting Me Go, I'll A-ways Know, You Were Different Than Them. I'll Always Know,You Were Different Than Them.

Friends (People Who)

When I'm The Man, You Pass On The Street, Why Do You Always Stare? Is There A Reason You Can't, Say Hi When We Meet? Is It You Just Don't Care? Is It Cause I'm Fat, Or I Don't Think That, Or Maybe I Am Not Hot, Are These The Reasons, You Just Turn Your Back, And You Don't Ever Stop? Just Because I Am Single, Doesn't Mean I'm Not Loved, Just Because I Look Lonely, I'm Happy With What I've Got. I've Got Friends, People Who Care, People Who Never Stare, Friends, People Who Love, People Who Stand By Your Side, Friends, The People Who Listen, The People Who Understand, I Might Look Lonely To You, But I Got Friends. Ten Years From Now, We Pass On The Street, What Have You Got To Say? I Have Lost All Of The Weight, And They Say I Look Great, But You Still Will Not Stop. Just Because I Am Single, Doesn't Mean I'm Not Loved. Just Because I Look Lonely, I'm Happy With What I've Got... I've Got Friends, People Who Care, People Who Will Not Stare. Friends... The People Who Love, The People Who Stand By Your Side. Friends, The People Who Listen, The People Who Understand. I Might Look Lonely To You, But I've Got Friends, And I'm Happy Without, The People Who Stare, The People Who Don't Care, Friends, Are What Keep Me Alive, And Here's Why..... Yes My Friends, The People Who Care, The People Who Never Stare, Yes My Friends, Are People Who Love, People Who Stand By My Side, Friends, Are People Who Listen, They're People Who Understand, I Might Look Lonely To You, But I've Got Friends.... I Might Look Lonely To You, But I've Got Friends.

If I Asked Her Out Today

There Was A Girl, I Had A Crush On In School, I Thought She Was Hot, I Thought She Was Cool. And I Liked Her, I Liked Her A lot, But I Couldn't Get The Courage, To Tell Her What I Thought. At The Semi We Danced, And I Had My Big Chance, But It Passed By And I Wonder, Why Oh Why. If I Asked Her Out Today, What Would She Say, "Yes" Or "No," How Would It Go? Would She Be Mine, For All Of Time, I Wonder What Would Happen, If I Told, Her How I Feel? And I Looked, I Looked In Her Eyes, And I Could See A Fire Burnin', Burnin' Deep Inside, All I Could Dream, Was Of Her Being Mine, Forever And Ever, Un-till The End Of Time, Maybe The Next Time I See Her, Will Be The Time, When I Ask Her, If She'll Be Mine. If I Asked Her Out Today, What Would She Say, "Yes" Or "No," How Would It Go? Would She Be Mine, For All Of Time, I Wonder What Would Happen, If I Told, Her How I Feel. Six Words, That's All There Is I Pray, But They're The The Hardest Six Words, To Say. But I'll Ask Them, When I Feel Right, And I Think Now Is The Right Time, To Say.... If I Asked You Out Today, What Would You Say? "Yes" Or "No," How Would It Go? Will You Be Mine, For All Of Time, I Wonder What Would Happen, If I Told You, How I Feel. All I Do, Is Think About You, Your The Love Of My Life, This I Swear Is True, And I Love You, With All Of My Heart, You Are Special, Will You Be Mine?

The Lord Is My Shepherd

The Lord Is My Shepherd; Nothing Shall I Want. He Makes Me Lie Down In The Green, Green Fields. He Leads Me Beside The Waters Of His Soul; He Leads Me Down The Paths Of Righteousness. Yea, Though I Walk Through The Valley Of Death, I Will Fear Nothing, For You Are Near. The Lord Is My Shepherd, Nothing Shall I Want. He Makes Me Lie Down In The Green, Green Fields. He Leads Me Beside, The Waters Of His Soul; And Leads Me Down The Paths Of Righteousness.  He Prepares A Table, And With Me, He Sits.  My Cup It Runs Over And God's Goodness Is With Me. Surely Grace And Mercy, Shall Follow Me All My Days, And I'll Dwell In God's House Forever More. The Lord Is My Shepherd; Nothing Shall I Want. He Makes Me Lie Down Inside The Green, Green Fields. He Leads Me Beside,  The Waters Of His Soul; And He Leads Me In The Paths Of Righteousness.

We Can Sing

Each Of Us, Were Many At Birth, Now Were One, United On Earth, Sadness Comes, And Falls On Us All, Now It's Time, That We Heed The Call. In This Time We Must Right The Wrong. We Must Be Glad, And Sing, The Song. We Must Follow, The Path That's Marked, And Must Be True, To Our Hearts. We Must Go, And Fight With Our Might, We Must Show, We'll Stand Through The Night. They Will See, That We'll Pass This Test. They Will See, That We Will Not Rest. All As One We Must Unite. We'll Show The World, That We'll Do What's Right, And If We Can Let Freedom Ring, Then We All Can Sing. We Can Sing Of Glories Past. We Can Sing, Of Wars That Have Passed. We Can Sing Songs Of Childhood Bliss. We Can Sing, 'Bout Our First Kiss. We Can Sing To, Friends And Family, We Can Sing 'Bout All Our Victory. Oh Beautiful, For Spacious Skies, For Amber Waves Of Grain. For Purple Mountains Majesty, Above The Fruited Plains. America, America, God Shed His Grace On Thee, And Crown Thy Good With Brotherhood, From Sea, To Shining Sea.
